Directions: from Hwy.
401 east of Bowmanville: take 115/35 to Peterborough. Follow
signs to "7 East Ottawa". When the divided highway
115 ends, continue on #7 about 6 km then take 28 (formerly
134) north about 15 km where it intersects with county road
29 into Lakefield. Bear right to stay on 28 and within 1/2
km, take County Road 6 (also called the Stoney Lake Road).
Go for 15 km to a stop sign where you turn left and then proceed
another 11 km to the South Bay Road on the left (on the right
it is called 11th Line). Check your odometer and proceed in
the South Bay Road for one kilometer. At one km you will see
a bank of green cottage signs. Just to the right is our small
sign with "2375" on it and an arrow pointing to our
driveway . If you go much more than one km from the Stoney
Lake Road, you have missed it.
If you are coming from the east, take Highway 7 to Norwood. Go north on County
Road 40 for about 20 km to County Road 6, the first stop sign after you
leave Norwood. Then turn right and go about 3km to the South Bay Road as
above.
